Career Overview

I have worked at Hartpury since 2010 and am the Associate Head of Department (Applied Sport Science) at Hartpury University. I began my education experience working at Cheltenham College and Hartpury College, before moving into higher education in 2012. As an Associate Head of Department, my main focus is developing and delivering the departments strategic priorities in collaboration with the Head of Department and Associate Heads of Department. As such I play a pivotal role in the operational management of the Department, delivering clear plans to enhance undergraduate and postgraduate learning, ensure quality and stands are met, providing leadership to and performance managing relevant staff and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

I’m a Senior Fellow of AdvanceHE and an external examiner for the Division of Sport and Exercise at The University of West Scotland.

Management and coordination of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and module leaders in Applied Sport Science.
Teaching and supervision in sport psychology and developing performance environments.
