Career Overview

I joined Hartpury in 2011. Prior to this, I completed a BSc (Hons) Sport Science at UCLan and then an MSc Sports Biomechanics at Liverpool John Moores. I returned to UCLan to complete a Ph.D in Biomechanics and PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. I also worked as a research assistant providing biomechanical support to small and medium enterprises.

During my time at Hartpury, I have primarily been responsible for developing and delivering the sports biomechanics modules across a range of programmes. I also developed a curriculum within performance analysis and programme managed the MSc during the first three years. More recently, I have supported Hartpury's developing postgraduate research, supervising MRes and Ph.D candidates.
