Lucy Ractliffe

Career Overview

I have a BSc (Hons) degree in P.E. and School Sport at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (Cardiff Met) and a Masters in Education (University of the West of England). Prior to joining Hartpury, I worked as a multi-sport coach and Inclusive Educational practitioner within secondary schools in Wales and England. Since transitioning into HE I have achieved additional qualifications in Management and Leadership and become a Senior Fellow of Advance HE as well as being an External Examiner. Within my dual role at Hartpury, I am the Achievement and Success Centre Co-ordinator (ASC) providing institutional-wide support in Academic and learning support and wellness development. In 2022 I became the Foundation Year programme co-ordinator which sits on 21 programmes across all subject areas, in conjunction with being an academic personal tutor and module leader.
