Career Overview

I have been working in education since 2005, and joined Hartpury University in 2014 after completing an MSc in Sports Therapy. Within my current role I focus on high quality delivery on our clinical sport therapy modules; my strengths are clinical assessment skills. I am the lead for our student led sport therapy clinic which provides our students with an opportunity to apply theory to practice. With a long history of working in education, I also contribute to the design and implementation of our sports therapy programme.

In addition to teaching I also work as a sports therapy practitioner, accredited by the Society of sports Therapists. My background is predominantly in rugby, but more recently I have been working in private practice. This practical experience informs my teaching practice, and gives a 'real world' context for our students.
