I joined Hartpury in 2008 after completing an MSc in Coaching Science and BSc (Hons) in Strength and Conditioning in Coaching, both at the University of West of England. During my time at Hartpury I have managed multiple degree programmes and taught across all levels of study, whilst actively coaching within the Elite Rugby Union Academy. During my time at Hartpury, my passion for teaching and higher education has lead me to completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education and become a Senior Fellow of the Advanced HE. In addition to holding a level 5 Institute of Leadership and Management Certificate and engaging with Senior Leadership Programmes within the Advanced HE, I currently sit on the co-ordination group for the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE-Net), which is a national community of like minded professionals who share their passion for collaborative approaches to teaching excellence.
Practically, I am qualified Rugby Union coach working within the Elite Rugby Academy at Hartpury University, managing performance and development within the British Universities and Colleges competitions. Previously I have managed Rugby Development Programmes for Gloucester Rugby and worked within the Regional Age Grade systems within the Welsh Rugby Union.
