Agriculture diplomas

Driving the future of farming

We’re an Ofsted Outstanding college with our own commercial farm and agricultural technology centre. Through our unique Hartpury Certificate, our students develop the knowledge, skills and experience that employers or universities are looking for.

Our diplomas in agriculture, land-based engineering, farm mechanisation, and countryside management are ideal for those who enjoy practical learning. Your diploma could equate to enough tariff points for university study or prepare you for a rewarding career in the ever-growing agriculture industry.

Developing knowledge and skills

You’ll develop real life skills and experience across the entire supply chain on our Red Tractor Assured farm which works with Sainsburys, Muller, and Frontier. Alongside this, you’ll be exposed to the latest smart farming technology through our new £2m Agri-Tech Centre, with opportunities to work with industry professionals from businesses such as NFU and GFirst LEP.

Developing employability
As part of our unique Hartpury Certificate, you’ll undertake an industry placement to help prepare you for employment. We have partnerships with over 2,000 employers across the UK – many students’ progress life-long careers with their placement provider. You’ll also work as a professional would, helping to run our commercial farm as part of your Hartpury Certificate. This is a great experience for your future.

Developing life skills

We’ll support you to become the best version of yourself. As part of our Hartpury Certificate, our specialist lecturers and support staff will help to develop your confidence, resilience, and independence to prepare you for your next steps after college.
