Benefit from your own 360-hectare classroom, as well as access to the latest technologies. With modern lecture rooms located in the heart of our commercial farm, you’ll be perfectly placed to immerse yourself in farm life.
Taught by lecturers who love what they do, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in every aspect of farming and estate management. Look after the cows and sheep, get milking in the dairy unit, maintain farm machinery, and participate in farm and gamekeeping duties.
Work experience is an essential element of our courses. Join our regular farm walks and get your hands dirty as you take a closer look at what’s happening on the ground. You could even volunteer to get involved with lambing, calving, and sheep shearing to build your skills portfolio. With regular trips to local farms, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to apply your skills in a real-life setting.
We’re proud to be Red Tractor Farm Assured for our dairy, beef, and lamb. You can be confident that you’ll develop your knowledge in line with the highest welfare standards. Our produce is sold to Muller, Sainsbury’s, and Waitrose, so you’ll be ready to apply your skills across the supply chain.
Take a look at our agriculture courses and find the right one for you. If you'd like a copy of our prospectus sent to your home, request a copy and we'll pop one in the post. We'd love to see you at an open day – it's the best way to find out if Hartpury could be right for you.
