Over 2,000 students currently study A-levels and diplomas at Hartpury College. There are 13 A-level subjects to select from including English Literature, History and Maths.

Our students are taught by subject-specialist staff, many of whom are also external examiners. This means they understand exactly what's needed for students to succeed in their exams.
Our A-level in Chemistry will help develop your scientific skills and knowledge. Learn to understand the world we live in, picking up research, problem solving, and analytical skills along the way. This A-level is a great platform for science or engineering-based programmes at university.
Our A-level Physical Education qualification allows you to pursue your sporting passions by developing a broad theoretical understanding of factors that affect both participation rates within society as well as the performance levels of elite athletes.
Mathematics is an interesting and challenging A-level that will enable you to study a wide range of topics across pure and applied mathematics. You'll develop and deepen your understanding of topics covered at GCSE and be introduced to many new concepts too.
Geography is a popular and wide-ranging A-level that will enable you to study a range of topics. Better understand the nature of human and physical geography whilst unpicking the debates surrounding contemporary challenges facing the world today.
You'll need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths and English Language in addition to the specific GCSE subjects and grades required by each subject.
Our A-level students have gone on to complete a range of degrees at Hartpury University and others, including Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. Courses include midwifery, business, economics, law, bioveterinary science, chemistry, sport and exercise science, and more.
Places at our Ofsted Outstanding college are competitive, so we recommend submitting your application as early as possible.
Prospective students don't need to have attended an open day to submit an application and can apply beforehand with no financial or any other obligations.
