Level 3 Foundation Diploma Equine Management (Business)

Overview

This course allows you to gain detailed academic knowledge and an in-depth understanding of horse management and business through both theory-based and practical sessions.

You will study both pure business and equine related units, giving you the specialised knowledge needed to pursue a range of careers.

Industry experience

You are also required to complete a period of work experience at an external placement, throughout the year and as a block, as well as having the opportunity to assist in the running of our commercial equine competitions.

Career and education opportunities

Successful completion of this programme will allow you to progress onto Higher Education.

Our students have gone on to some fantastic careers in a wide range of industries and enjoyed some exceptional work placements all over the world, helping them open doors to their dream careers.

Hartpury’s world-class equine facilities are used not only for formal learning but also for work experience, including at our own commercial Equine Therapy Centre and in our events department, supporting our international showpiece events and other high quality competitions, with the chance to work with some of the stars of the equine world.
