Introducing…
The Digital Skills Framework in Agriculture

A national skills and competency framework for a digital world

Hartpury’s digital capability framework will provide a national benchmark for education and training providers - a reference point for learners, teaching staff and industry to support the future needs of the agricultural industry.

It will define the essential skills required to uptake digital technologies and help individuals live, learn and work in the digital environment.

Our funders and key partners

Funding for the Digital Studio and Digital Skills Framework has been provided by the  Department of Education's (DfE) Strategic Development Fund (SDF) and aligns with the key priorities for Gloucestershire outlined by Business West in their Local Skills Improvement Plan. The funding was awarded to a consortium of Gloucestershire-based FE Colleges, consisting of Hartpury, South Gloucestershire and Stroud CollegeGloucestershire College, and Cirencester College. It aims to tackle skills gaps through regional collaborations between colleges, training providers, and employers, to ensure they are preparing Gloucestershire learners with the skills needed for employment.
