Libby studied Level 3 National Extended Diploma Equine Management (Science) at Hartpury and has been offered a place to study Veterinary Medicine in Nottingham.

Libby’s Hartpury Experience

“I really enjoyed getting stuck into lab work and practicals. We did dissections and looked at microbiology, using the microscope, working with antibiotics and how to relate that all back to the horse. My lecturer has been so helpful, I can’t recommend her enough. Being able to live away from home among such amazing equine facilities was a great experience; I loved it at Hartpury.”

Developing Industry Connections

“I’ve been offered a place to study Veterinary Medicine in Nottingham. When I’m fully qualified I want to work somewhere in the countryside, and eventually specialise in the equine industry. My placements during my time at Hartpury have helped prepare me for my chosen career path. I undertook an on-site placement within Equine Therapy Centre at Hartpury, which was good fun as well as beneficial to my professional development.”
