Charlotte is studying a Level 3 Extended Diploma Sport (Physical Education & Coaching) and has had a great opportunity to travel to Florida to do work experience.

Charlotte's Hartpury Experience

"I had an amazing opportunity to coach ‘The Portishead Academy of Gymnastics’ and ‘Mullion Gymnastics Centre’ at the Magical Classic Gymnastics Competition in Orlando. I had competed in Florida twice before but it was a new experience coaching. As part of our course, we also get the chance to coach children from Hartpury Primary School once a week. We design and run sessions for them and then get the opportunity to go on a nine-week full-time placement at a school, where we receive feedback from both our lecturers and the teachers."

Developing Industry Connections

"My lecturers at Hartpury are always willing to help, and will always give little tips which I can use for the next time I coach and that will help me achieve my ambition of becoming a coach or teacher. The work experience is great for your CV, as is the fact I’m now one of the Hartpury Young Ambassadors."
