Holly Bowsher

Holly completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma Equine Management at Hartpury. She started riding when she was six and it quickly became something she loved. She was able to explore her passion during her work placement and discover exciting new career paths.

Holly's Hartpury Experience 

"Hartpury has develop my confidence and social skills. I’m working towards a qualification that will give me the flexibility to go into the world of work or carry on with my education at university.

I’ve learnt so much about nutrition and performance, anatomy and physiology. I feel that what I’m studying now will give me a great foundation for a future in the equine world.

We’ve also heard from industry professionals who run their own businesses. This has been really inspirational and given me an insight into how I could set up my own business."

Developing Industry Connections

"I really enjoyed working with horses at Tweenhills. It gave me a fascinating insight into the world of horseracing and valuable knowledge of how to handle young stock ready for sale. It’s opened my eyes to the stud industry and given me a wider choice when thinking about future careers."
