The Level 3 Extended Diploma Sport (Coaching) student enjoyed an excellent two years at Hartpury, with several individual achievements alongside the team success she enjoyed as captain of the first team.
Part of the netball AASE programme during her time here, Sophie improved her techincal and tactical knowledge and her hard work was rewarded with a trial for the England U19 squad. After successfully making the long squad, Sophie's strict training programme and switch to NTL side Team Bath in August 2012, the England coaches selected her for the final full squad.
Following the selection, Sophie was given the opportunity to train with Team Bath's Superleague side, who play at the highest level of English netball. She made her debut for the side in January 2013 during the FastNet Superleague tournament.
Sophie was also selected as part of the U19 Federation of European Netball Assocations (FENA) team to represent England in European competition.
Prior to joining Hartpury, Sophie had experience of playing at regional club level as well as for Netball Talent League's (NTL) West Midland Warriors.
