It’s never too early to start thinking about your future and there’s a lot to consider when applying for university. We review every part of your application – your qualifications, personal statement, references and relevant experience – to decide if you will be a good fit for Hartpury and your chosen course. Here's everything you need to know about applying.

Undergraduate

UK, European and international students

Full-time courses

You'll need to apply for full-time degrees (including foundation years and foundation degrees) through UCAS. When they receive your application, UCAS will send you a welcome email and forward your application to us. We'll then review your application and contact you if we need any more details.

Top-up applications (Level 6 entry)

If you are looking to advance your diploma to an honour’s degree, you can apply for a one-year top-up course with Hartpury.

Applications for our top-up courses can be made direct by using our online form.

To ensure we can make an informed decision on your application to offer you a place at Hartpury, you will need to include the following information on your application:

  • Your qualifications achieved including you diploma or equivalent and any qualifications you are currently studying
  • Any work or industry experience
  • A personal statement stating why you want to study the qualification
  • Details of a referee that we can contact who can support your application to the programme

Postgraduate

UK, European and international students

We welcome postgraduate applications from well-qualified individuals who are as passionate about making a contribution to our industries as we are.

A key thing to think about is whether you'll dedicate yourself to full-time study or part-time around existing commitments. We'd recommend visiting our campus. You’ll get to see our facilities, find out about postgraduate finance options, and more.

You can apply for our postgraduate courses directly to us using our online application. You'll also need to include the following information on your application:

  • Your qualifications achieved including you degree or equivalent and any qualifications you are currently studying
  • Any work or industry experience
  • A personal statement stating why you want to study the qualification
  • Details of a referee that we can contact who can support your application to the programme
Apply for a postgraduate course

What happens after I apply?

We can only look at your application once we have received your application form and all supporting documents. You’ll then receive one of the following decisions by email and invite you to an interview:

Conditional offer

You still need to submit outstanding documents. Your place is dependent on the achievement and/or evidence of certain qualifications.

If you have already achieved them please submit evidence. If you are currently studying them or waiting for results please submit them when you have received them.

Unconditional offer

You meet the entry criteria specified and have submitted all necessary documents. Your offer will stay in place until you confirm whether you'd like to accept or decline. If you accept, you’ll be required to pay a deposit.

Alternative course

You don't meet the entry criteria / we feel another course may be more suitable.

Unsuccessful

You don't meet the entry criteria. Where possible we will try to match you with an alternative course.
