On top of this, all international students have ongoing access to the international team in admissions as well as our team of Global Guides, current 2nd and 3rd year international students who are there to additional provide support and advice.
Details of tuition fees and all-inclusive packages for EU and international students can be found on our finance pages.
The International Office is responsible for the recruitment and initial support of students outside of the EU. This involves processing applications and issuing offers, overseas recruitment and partner institution liaison as well as providing advice and guidance on areas such as admissions criteria, visa requirements, annual fees and choice of academic programmes.
Due to the varied nature of the international office we work in close partnership with many departments in the college such as marketing, accommodation, finance, student welfare and transport as well as the academy and academic staff to ensure an enjoyable student experience.
Exchange programmes involve a semester or academic year of study for Hartpury students at partner institutions from Europe (through Erasmus+ exchanges) or outside or Europe (through Hartpury exchange partner institutions) or students coming to Hartpury to study. Visiting students do not pay tuition fees to Hartpury for their studies here. View the Erasmus policy statement.
Through the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) you can gain credits during your studies at Hartpury which can be transferred between the different universities that you attend. One ECTS credit is the same as 2 Hartpury credits:
- 60 ECTS credits represent a full year of study (equivalent to 120 Hartpury credits)
- 30 ECTS credits represent one semester of study (equivalent to 60 Hartpury credits)
- Hartpury module codes are arranged to show Hartpury credits (Department - Module - Hartpury credits - level of study) so HKN-Z56-30-6 is worth 15 ECTS credits.
Credits are awarded only when the course has been completed and all required assessments have been completed satisfactorily. We cannot award official Hartpury credit for incomplete modules.

Our courses are developed with support from employers, ensuring that when you graduate you will have the skills and qualifications that they want. From our science and performance laboratories to our extensive animal collection, our Rider Performance and Equine Therapy centres, a fully working farm and exceptional sports facilities, there are so many opportunities to get hands on and build a portfolio of ‘real world’ practical experience.
If you are unable to make one of our open days, you can still explore the campus with our virtual tour. You can start at various points on campus and, just like Google Street View, you can walk from one area to another, taking a look at our facilities. There are also some useful information and videos on your way round.
Or if you are coming to the UK, but it doesn’t coincide with one of the Open Day dates, contact email@example.com and we’ll arrange a special tour for you. Please note that you may not be able to meet current students or certain members of staff if you visit outside of term times.
We work with agents from across the world, helping to place students on our undergraduate (degree) and postgraduate courses.
Do you want to meet new friends and gain a flavour of student life in the UK?
Our Study Abroad programme offers a unique study experience, especially designed for students enrolled at a college/university overseas.
