Students' Union

As a Hartpury student, you’re automatically a part of our Students’ Union (SU). Students' unions put together social events, sports and societies for a range of different interests and, with such a variety of opportunities to choose from, you’re bound to find something for you.

The SU is run by elected officers, whose purpose is to represent YOU – so you can go to them for all kinds of support.

When you first arrive on campus, Fresher’s Week presents plenty of opportunities to socialise and get to know the people that you’ll be living with and those who are on your course. At the Fresher’s Fair, you can join clubs and societies, find out what other areas you can get involved with and discover what support is available to you, as well as bag yourself some great freebies!

If you’re interested in starting your own club/society, the SU would love to hear your ideas!

Things to do on and off campus

Our themed nights and live music are always popular. In the last few years, we’ve hosted acts such as Chase & Status, Wretch 32, Katy B, Labrinth, Pendulum, DJ Fresh and Tinchy Stryder; alongside DJs such as Greg James, Scott Mills, Jaguar Skills and Benga.

Our events team run fortnightly weekend trips, as well activities and entertainment throughout the year. These include pool tournaments, quiz and film nights and fancy dress parties, plus trips to places such as Bath, London and Oxford.
