To study at Hartpury you must demonstrate that your English language ability meets the requirements for university-level study. We accept a number of Secure English Language Tests (SELT) for entry onto our degree courses, with IELTS being the most common.

Please note:
This qualification must have been completed within the 5 years prior to the start of an undergraduate course. However, if you have completed a bachelor’s degree taught and assessed in English within the past 3 years, we may accept WAEC/WASSCE or NECO English Language regardless of when it was completed.
2025 Postgraduate Country Scholarship
We are offering scholarships of £5000 to Nigerian postgraduate students joining us in September 2025. The scholarship will be automatically awarded once your application is approved and paid in the form of a tuition fee discount. This award is for international fee-paying students that meet the following eligibility criteria:
