Patrick Pritchard

Patrick’s passion to work with animals from a young age led him to Veterinary Nursing at Hartpury. After securing part-time employment whilst completing his degree, he progressed into several clinical roles across the UK.

“The community aspect of Hartpury really stood out to me. The team environment was really uplifting. The whole atmosphere felt like home.

The opportunities available through the course are outstanding. The lecturers were brilliant and more than happy to give up their time to help, they couldn’t have been more supportive.

As well as being able to do equine work on campus, I got to work with large exotics and zoo animals during my work experience. I handled lions, kangaroos, penguins, and an array of animals I never dreamt of treating. That, and being associated with Hartpury, carried weight when applying for jobs.”
