Hartpury is around a 15-minute drive from Gloucester and 20 minutes from Cheltenham. With exciting shops, cafés, eateries, bars and night clubs, there’s something for every taste, every day of the week.
As a Hartpury student, there are loads of ways you can get around and explore Gloucestershire. You can hop on one of the public buses that stop regularly on campus. If you ride a bike, you can store it in our secure bike sheds on campus.
We also offer on-campus parking and discounted rates with local taxi firms. Here's some more information about the options available to you.
You can bring your car with you to Hartpury and park it on campus. You’ll just need to purchase a car park pass, which is available from Student Services when you arrive or via our online shop.

Lots of our students choose to use the regular Swanbrook bus service. The number 354 route travels from Hartpury to Gloucester and Cheltenham daily in term time.
Want to reduce your carbon footprint and do your bit to help the environment? Compared to single occupancy vehicles, public transportation produces 95% less carbon dioxide.
