Hartpury gave me confidence in my abilities. The practical lectures and work placement created a direct pathway into my veterinary diagnostics career.

My Hartpury experience
My degree provided me with the theoretical knowledge to enter the veterinary industry. I gained practical experience through my work placement at a large equine hospital, which ultimately led to a job offer at the end of my degree. Hartpury has opened up more career doors for me.

The Equine Veterinary Nursing degree allows you to work within a veterinary practice alongside other professionals, giving you a platform to connect with people and find your own interests.

The lecturers on the course were really approachable and happy to answer questions. This really helped me to achieve a higher overall grade.

Life as an Equine Veterinary Nurse
I developed an interest in diagnostics during my work placement in a large equine hospital. Now I work at the same hospital as a Diagnostic Imaging Technician. I carry out MRI scans and CT scans, and undertake X-rays as well as carrying out other routine nursing roles.
