Eloise studied BA (Hons) Equine Business Management at Hartpury and now has her own business, creating and selling high-end bespoke leather goods, after beating hundreds of applicants to the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship (QEST). She had to attend an interview at Buckingham Palace after being shortlisted and then presented her case in front of a big group of trustees. She used the money towards classes to further improve my craftsmanship after learning her trade at Colne Saddlery.
Eloise's Hartpury Experience
"I carried out my work placement at Colne Saddlery and I used my experience there as a basis for my third year dissertation, which focused on updating a business. After completing my degree, I was offered a full-time position with them. Working at the saddlers drew a lot more on the equine knowledge I had gained from that side of my course at Hartpury University."
Developing Industry Connections
"Having now started up my own business, everything I studied on the business management side has come flooding back. Without the course and everything that I learnt during my time at Hartpury University, I wouldn’t be where I am now."
