If you want to work with animals and manage every aspect of their care, our Animal Management BTEC diploma is for you. Our students study a range of topics related to the animal management industry, including Animal Welfare, Animal Behaviour, Breeding, Health, Genetics, Ecology and Conservation, Aquatics, and Human-Animal Interaction. You’ll apply theory through practical sessions in our extensive animal collection.

This Diploma will give you the knowledge, skills and understanding you need to progress on to further veterinary and animal science study and pursue your dreams. If you want to gain an understanding of the business behind the equine industry, this non riding course is for you. Study equine-related business modules and apply the theory as you take part in practical sessions on our equine yard – we have loan horses for you to work with. You’ll spend one day a week in industry to gain first-hand commercial experience. You'll also be involved in weekend show duties. Be ready to pursue a wide range of careers within an equine or business environment.

If you're passionate about equine science and want to learn about the structure, diet, behaviour and rehabilitation of horses, then this course is ideal for you. You'll develop a strong scientific knowledge base as you study three core science modules on this course. You'll gain an academic understanding of equine science and hone your applied skills during a four-week block of external work experience during each year of your course.
