We provide students with access to world-class equine facilities, including two international competition areas - indoor and outdoor, four additional arenas, stabling for 230 horses (including students’ own horses), a state-of-the-art rider performance centre with riding simulators, and our own Equine Therapy Centre.

It provides the perfect place for students to develop real-world expertise, using world-leading equipment and with access to leading industry experts. As part of your course, you could develop your coaching, conditioning or scientific research skills here.

Our arenas provide an excellent teaching environment for students, where you can practice their riding skills as well as getting hands-on experience.

Our commercial yard enables students to gain a wealth of practical and work experience in all aspects of horse care and management. Depending on their course, students will be involved in the daily care of the horses through yard duties.

Hartpury’s estate boasts its own commercial Home Farm and students are able to experience milking, calving, lambing and rearing and observe and assist with veterinary procedures on the farm.
