International Top-Up Application Guide

International Martyna Iruretagoyena MSC Equine 2

If you're applying to Hartpury as an international top-up student, you can apply to us directly for your chosen top-up course.

International students may be applying to our Level 6 top-up programmes through a pathway college, or through RPL (recognised prior learning).

Apply direct to Hartpury

You can apply direct to Hartpury through our online application form. You'll need to create an account and login.

Once you've decided you want to make an application for a Hartpury University course, you simply need to follow the next steps.

If you're applying through our direct form, you'll be instructed to register for an account and login. You'll need to select your chosen Level 6 (Top-up) course.

As part of your application, we'll ask you for a reference. A reference is a written statement from a referee, such as a teacher, college counsellor, employer, or coach, who can attest to your suitability for higher education.

We'll let you know that we have received your application. Our Admissions team might email you directly to request more information. You can expect up to a 10-day waiting period to hear from our team.

If we make you an offer

You’ll get your offer letter and information pack.

If we don’t feel we can make you an offer

We might be able to offer you an alternative. We'll get in touch to discuss options.

A conditional offer means you’ll have a guaranteed place providing you meet the conditions of your offer – usually specific exam results. An unconditional offer means you have a guaranteed place on your course.

If you've received an offer, we'll invite you to attend an Offer Holder Day. It's a great opportunity to experience interactive subject sessions and get a taste of student life. If you live overseas, you might not be able to attend this in person. You might want to book an individual campus tour at a more suitable date, or instead meet with us virtually. You can get in touch with our International team and book a 1:1 call instead if you have any questions. Your dedicated contact and a meeting booking link will be listed on your country page.

Your country

You'll need to confirm your offer to us in writing, by emailing our International Admissions Team.

If you have not yet met the conditions stated on your offer letter and we're expecting additional information from you, you'll need to provide this as soon as you can by emailing our Admissions Team.

For example, you may still need to provide us with your transcripts and certificates from exam results.

When you have met the conditions of your offer, we'll send you lots of information about your next steps and joining Hartpury. You can visit our Coming to Hartpury hub below for more information on the next steps. Congratulations!
