If you're applying to Hartpury as an international undergraduate student, you can choose to apply for your course through UCAS, or directly.
International students can apply for their chosen course from October onwards, for entry in the following September.
UCAS (the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service), is the central organisation for university and higher education applications in the UK. It provides a single online application system for students to apply to multiple courses and universities with one application.
You can also choose to apply direct to Hartpury through our online application form. You'll need to create an account and login.
If you're applying through UCAS, our code is H22. You’ll have up to five choices on your application. You don't have to decide which one is your Firm choice yet.
If you're applying through our direct form, you'll be instructed to register for an account and login.
As part of your application, we'll ask you for a reference. A reference is a written statement from a referee, such as a teacher, college counsellor, employer, or coach, who can attest to your suitability for higher education.
We'll let you know that we have received your application. Our Admissions team might email you directly to request more information. You can expect up to a 10-day waiting period to hear from our team.
If we make you an offer
You’ll get your offer letter and information pack.
If we don’t feel we can make you an offer
We might be able to offer you an alternative. We'll get in touch to discuss options.
A conditional offer means you’ll have a guaranteed place providing you meet the conditions of your offer – usually specific exam results. An unconditional offer means you have a guaranteed place on your course.
If you've received an offer, we'll invite you to attend an Offer Holder Day. It's a great opportunity to experience interactive subject sessions and get a taste of student life. If you live overseas, you might not be able to attend this in person. You might want to book an individual campus tour at a more suitable date, or instead meet with us virtually. You can get in touch with our International team and book a 1:1 call instead if you have any questions. Your dedicated contact and a meeting booking link will be listed on your country page.
You'll need to confirm your offer to us. If you've applied direct, you can email our admissions team to accept your offer in writing. If you've applied through UCAS, you'll need to accept your offer through making us 'Firm' in the UCAS system before the UCAS deadline (check the UCAS website for dates).
Your Firm choice will be the university that you attend, providing you meet requirements (for conditional offers).
If you're not holding any places, either because you've not received any or you've changed your mind and declined them, you can use UCAS Extra or Clearing to help you find a place.
If you have not yet met the conditions stated on your offer letter and we're expecting additional information from you, you'll need to provide this as soon as you can by emailing our Admissions Team.
For example, you may still need to provide us with your transcripts and certificates from exam results, or an English Language Test result.
When you have met the conditions of your offer, we'll send you lots of information about your next steps and joining Hartpury. You can visit our Coming to Hartpury hub below for more information on the next steps. Congratulations!
We accept students into every year of our degrees. If you’ve already started your degree at another university, you could still join Hartpury in your second or third year and graduate with a full degree. Our dedicated wellbeing staff will support you as you settle in, and your academic tutor will help you adjust to your new course.
If you need any further support or information about applying to study at Hartpury University or have any concerns at any point, please contact our team. If it's important to you, it's important to us.
We aim to make the application process as simple as possible and we're here to support you every step of the way. Our admissions policy is also available to download.
